OCPAC Takes Aim At Baptist Church Leadership

OCPAC Attacks Oklahoma Baptist Church Leadership
We generally leave OKPAC alone these days after they removed Charlie Meadows as leader and spokesperson. They aren't attacking us, we have no intention of messing with them as they are generally coming out of the dysfunction they found themselves in after Charlie Meadows wrote that unfortunate blog post/newsletter excoriating blacks and telling them to be more like whites, literally. Reading their weekly newsletter is a bit like watching paint dry but that is definitely a plus after the Meadow years.

However, they stepped in it this week with an attack on the Baptist General Convention of Oklahoma and its editor Brian Hobbs for writing a Pro Life article advocating prayer and participation in the annual Rose Day at the Capitol. Despite calling the issue a matter of "life and death" the article was thought to have fallen way short according to Mitch Michener, the author of the weekly newsletter.

The newsletter castigated the Baptists for not doing enough to stop abortion and not providing "righteous leadership" and pretty much blamed the Baptists for abortion or continuing to regulate abortion instead of ending the practice. The article ended with a demand to support Baptist Pastor Dan Fisher...ouch.... do they not see the irony there?

Of course the AHA cult has buried deep within the Dan Fisher campaign and is running pretty much the entire campaign so OKPAC has to parrot the talking points. AHA itself is known to be extremely hateful toward mainstream churches that they feel are timid and vehemently anti Catholic. Now we can add the Baptists to the list except of course for their messiah, the right Reverend Dan Fisher.
