Lankford and Inhofe Resolutions

Last week saw dozens of copies of the STP Lankford/Inhofe censure resolution filed at precinct meetings across the state. No doubt most of the county GOP leaders might refuse to file these resolutions, going against Party rules to do so, so the more that get filed the better as some will make it to the County convention and have to be voted on at the State convention. Here is one version that was expanded by Connie Grimms in Oklahoma County. It is well written and you of course can modify it before you file it and make it your own.

RESOLUTION TO CENSURE SENATOR JAMES LANKFORD AND SENATOR JIM INHOFE FOR FAILURE TO DELAY THE CERTIFICATION OF FRAUDULENT ELECTORAL VOTES IN THE 2020 PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION.

WHEREAS, In the aftermath of the November 3rd Presidential Election several incidences of voter fraud were uncovered in at least seven (7) states including Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Minnesota, Nevada, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin;

WHEREAS, The documented discrepancies on voter integrity included Dominion voter machines weighing the votes and transmitting vote counts to foreign countries, multiple vote counts of the same votes, large late dumps of ballots entirely for one candidate, persons not living in the state voting, persons dead voting, and persons voting more than once, to name a few causes for concern;

WHEREAS, Senate hearings were conducted with Senator Lankford presiding that revealed state executives acted unconstitutionally by changing voter laws and provided the evidence of voter irregularities despite the evidence not being reported on national media, not being allowed to be heard in courts, and being ignored by many government officials;

WHEREAS, Senator Lankford had promised to call for the formation of an Electoral Commission for a 10 day pause and review of the evidence prior to the certification of the 2020 Electoral Votes; Senator Inhofe had not made that promise;

WHEREAS, On January 6, 2021 Senator Lankford, after resuming the interrupted session, publicly rescinded his previous support of reviewing electoral votes integrity before certification and he and Senator Inhofe promptly cast the blame for the Capitol riot, and all the violence upon MAGA Republicans and President Donald J. Trump with mere circumstantial evidence; and

WHEREAS, Senator Inhofe took an oath to ‘support and defend’ the Constitution and to ‘bear true faith and allegiance to the same’ for the fifth time on Sunday January 3, 2021, but he apparently believes investigating to assure legal and fraud free Federal Elections violates his oath, so he also did not step up to call for a review of the Electoral Votes in the contested states; therefore be it

RESOLVED, The Oklahoma County Republican Party condemns this lack of courage and action as an act against our US Constitution which dissolves public confidence in Congress and the Federal Election process, jeopardizes future elections, and sincerely alienates at least seventy-five (75) million voters; and

RESOLVED, The Oklahoma County Republican Party does hereby censure and call for the resignation of Senator James Lankford and Senator Jim Inhofe for failure to take all possible measures to protect the integrity of the 2020 Presidential Electoral Vote.

And no, we do not expect this to be easy nor do we expect it to get watered down a bit before it passes. People can call for amendments to change the wording at the convention itself. If none of the resolutions survive we will fight to submit one at the county conventions where you can get signatures the day of the convention and force the resolution on the agenda. The same can happen at the State Convention so GOP leadership will likely bow to the inevitable and allow a more tame version to make it to the agenda. Which we can amend at the convention and bring it back to strength.

This will set a precedent, honor your campaign promises and reflect the Party values or the plebes will come get your stupid ass and embarrass you or even throw you out of office. We have good government when the government fears the people, this is inevitable and the crooks know it.
