Playboy Kevin McDugle Draws an Opponent

Ne'er do well and playboy state representative Kevin McDugle is notorious for dumping the latest set of wife and kids for a blond floozy and for rubbing the infidelity into the other House Member's face by trotting out the tramp at frequent legislative functions. McDugle is also known for getting caught in the AshleyMadison.com data dump, the horned toad had signed up on the extramarital affair website looking for married women to hook up with or maybe he was looking for a buddy to go to Church with..... yeah, right, that's the ticket.

Some say that McDugle felt his wife was too plain and dowdy, that he thought she was more of a mother than a suitable and attractive trophy wife that he thought he deserved. McDugle was also notorious for preaching to others on Facebook about how to treat your wife while he was carrying on a long term affair with his new floozy, settling down with her in Oklahoma City, thanks to House Per Diem pay McDugle was able to rent an apartment to put the floozy up in.

But the randy legislator has drawn a serious opponent in the coming 2018 primary, Nick Mahoney. While he isn't the perfect candidate, he has a couple of issues that aren't good, too much money promised to teachers for raises and the idea that a deputy sheriff can retire in twenty years at a fat paycheck would bankrupt the counties. That said, he isn't likely to be able to get these passed anyway.

For the record people need pensions but one should have to work for many years to qualify. Allowing a 40 year old man to retire at 80% benefits, only to see him go on to another public service or LEO organization and start earning on another pension, including getting credit for some of his earlier time, is just wrong. The current plan is that a deputy can retire when his age and years of service equal 90. So a 60 year old deputy with 30 years of service earns a pension or a 55 year old deputy with 35 years of service can retire with a pension and that pension is around 30%. That is plenty when coupled with Social Security but Mahoney is talking about 80% pensions at 20 years of service which would bankrupt the counties.

Public pensions would be okay if they paid out 30% after 20 years IF the pensioner had to wait till they were 65 and retired from all other work. That way they could vest in a pension and change careers if they wanted. Better if All public employees were put on a 501 K plan where they contributed equal amounts to their own pension and it was portable.

Still, as neither of these proposals would likely survive Mahoney would be heads above the low down, cheating, filthy adulterer that is currently holding the office. McDugle has lost much of his support locally, the local GOP is refusing to endorse him in the primary, and many influential locals are supporting anyone over McDugle. Some are asking McDugle to remove any reference to their endorsement from the previous election, something that McDugle wasn't happy about.

Mahoney has a Facebook page at this link and you can find his main website at this link. As most beginning politicians he has a bit to learn so straighten him out on his issues so that he gets off being on board the conservative agenda before he gets into office.
