Lecher Kevin McDugle Lashes Out Against Conservatives
Last week we saw the creation of the new conservative group Oklahoma Taxpayers Unite lead by Tom Coburn and it was like a bomb went off at the Capitol. The house had just passed the largest tax increase in state history in an effort to prevent a teacher strike, using underhanded tactics and heavy pressure upon the legislators to force compliance with leadership's plans. The Senate was not liking the new Hotel tax but the House flat out told the Senate that the bill wouldn't receive another vote in the House so pass the legislation as is or forget about any tax increases. Leadership in the House had burned a lot of bridges getting HB 1010 passed.
One of the main leaders in forcing through these record level taxes was Kevin McDugle and Josh West, two freshmen House members, both ex military, both with a history of being bullies at the Capitol, and both having lots of baggage from their past.
McDugle for instance runs a company called Lawyer Marketing Services. And boy are there some interesting stories coming out of that disaster of a company. Some of the rumors about the place are backed up by reviews at GlassDoor.com. High company turnover, poor pay, under staffing, upset clients due to the slow pace of projects, and it seems that McDugle is rarely present, preferring to spend his time with the floozy of the week instead of leading the company that he founded.
Rumors of money mismanagement and even hiding assets according to a subpoena issued recently, generally poor quality of employees, coupled with the view that employees are disposable, leaders to a tendency to oversell the marketing services at a high price yet without the staff or resources to fulfill the contracts. The company seems to be running employees through the business, luring them in with promises of better pay and advancement yet having frequent layoffs due to money problems according to former employees. Allegations of lying to customers, taking advantage of customers, and ignoring the customers once they have paid for the services so they can focus on selling the next set of clients to bring in much needed income, all indications that the company is focused on chasing revenue instead of being profitable and retaining customers.. Retaining clients appears to be McDugle's biggest problem as marketing can't bring in enough clients to keep the business well funded so it can do the marketing for the lawyer clients it has.
The culture at Lawyer Marketing Services is said to be very bad. Security cameras everywhere monitoring employees, constant turnover and hiring low quality inexperienced employees means that a lot of time is spent on training employees that are gone just as quickly. Management is secretive, intolerant of constructive criticism, and they have been accused of working people overtime without compensation.
McDugle is a bit of a nut job, claims he was sexually molested between the ages of 13 and 15 by a minister, not something that most men would admit if it is indeed true. Extremely poor judgement too as McDugle literally was groveling late in the week, publicly apologizing for his comments about the teacher strike in a couple of Youtube videos, coming off looking more than a little unbalanced and desperate.
Plenty of other stories out there about Kevin McDugle, treating women horribly at his firm, keeping a loaded gun in his desk along with flasks of booze, of course the story of him booting out the wife and kids after he took up with a woman allegedly met on AshleyMadison.com. Not the most stable man so perhaps the kids are going to be better off. Add that to his extremely poor business skills and the seeming inability to control what he says online points to one unsuitable dude occupying a public office at the expense of his constituents.
