Kevin McDugle Spending Campaign Donations on Personal Housing
No Other Legislator Appears to Have
Done Likewise After a Search of the Last Two Years
Unless you are living under a rock you know by now that one of the biggest dirt bags in Oklahoma politics is Rep. Kevin McDugle. I mean he cheated on his wife, his third wife and one can imagine the odds that this isn't a new trick he learned, abandoned his adopted special needs kids and current wife to hook up with a floozy he is alleged to have met on AshelyMadision.com. We know for sure that Rep. Kevin McDugle was on that site, he was busted along with millions others in the data dump in 2015.
Then McDugle conspired with the Sheriff of Wagoner County, Chris Elliot, and got McDugle's challenger Nick Mahoney fired from his deputy job. With a wife and kids to feed Mahoney was forced to suspend campaigning in order to get another job. Mahoney is still on the ballot and will campaign if he makes if he wins the GOP primary.
But today's email brought in proof that McDugle was also double dipping on campaign expenses, using campaign donations to pay for his personal housing even though the state paid him thousands of dollars each month in per diem during the session and for the special sessions.
Was the apartment in OKC, a place to crash after a hard day's legislating? Nope, it was near, near, not inside, his House district. Most likely rented so as to claim he was still living in the district.
Wasn't former Rep. Gus Blackwell arrested, prosecuted, and convicted on far less than this?
