With a challenger forced to suspend his personal campaigning in order to literally feed his family and keep a roof over his head, the Sooner Tea Party is making sure that the voters in McDugle's district are well informed. Thousands of voter guides were dropped on voters this weekend, more will be dropped tomorrow, and two videos are upon Facebook.
If you want to volunteer for the Monday night effort email us at soonerteaparty@gmail.com. You will need a vehicle and a smart phone to receive an email with the district map to open using Google maps on your phone. The voter names are shown as a series of dots that can be clicked on to show the name and address. You use the GPS on the phone to get directions to one of the homes in a cluster then just use the map to pay Pac Man and follow the dots and toss a voter guide on the driveway when the GPS shows you are right next to the home. We will start around 6 pm on Monday.
The first video covers Rep. Kevin McDugle's 40% absent voting rate, the third highest in the legislature.
The second video covers McDugle's liberal voting record and his votes for higher taxes and corporate welfare for his campaign contributors.
