Rep. Kevin Wallace Refused to Pay $280.00 per Month for Two Kids
Dead Beat Dad Ordered to Appear in Court February 5th
You can't make stuff this horrible up if you tried. The current Chairman of the Appropriations and Budget Committee at the House of Representatives was busted last week after refusing to pay his court ordered child support. Around $33,000 worth according to the news stories, delinquent since 2012. The former wife had to use the Department of Human Services, which usually takes indigent families cases in an attempt to prevent public tax money being spent on families when the fathers refuse to pay.
Of course Representative Kevin Wallace shucked and jived, refusing to face reporters but sending out a press release claiming that he had paid "over $250,000" in those years, allegedly supporting his two kids. I suppose if stuffing burgers down his fat butt so he doesn't starve is a form of support for the kids. Or maybe it was spent on a new girlfriend so Wallace was in a good mood when the kids got to visit? Or strippers or hookers or sixteen year old boys for all we know. The boy is butt ugly, you would have to hang bacon around his neck to get a dog to play with him so I bet hiring sex partners is expensive if you were him.
Wallace is wealthy, owns several businesses in addition to his legislative salary including a construction company and a deer ranch. Wallace is no enemy of hardball either after filing an emergency order against his ex wife complaining that she had a boyfriend that was staying over on some nights. That resulted in a visit by the local police believe it or not, which terrified both mother and the fifteen year old child.
Rep. Wallace had a 2018 Platform Index score of only 21 points, getting 15 our of 20 votes wrong, escaping a worse score because he missed 20% of the votes.
And who did Wallace hire as an attorney to attempt to cheat this poor woman out of the owed child support? None other than fellow Don't Ask Don't Tell caucus member Rep. Chris Kannaday, AKA Comrade Chris for his Russian TV interview where he sat on national TV attacking the U.S. Government for not funding the resettlement of a terrorist he had managed to get freed. Which by the way is a federal felony, using military uniform to push a political agenda.
Kannaday had a 2018 Platform Index score of zero points, getting all twenty votes wrong.
Kannaday is also infamous for being the hatchet man responsible for hundreds of thousands of dollars of dark money used to defeat a half dozen conservative Republican legislators in the last election cycle.
Both Wallace and Kannaday ought to be ashamed of trying to cheat these two kids out of child support. And despite the claims of other support, there were no receipts shown proving anything had been paid and even if it was voluntary payments are just that, they are no substitute for paying child support.
Were Rep. Kevin Wallace a regular Joe he would be sitting behind bars waiting for his court appearance. Few men can escape paying child support and medical bills on their kids for six years and not spend some time in the local jail. As for Kannaday helping out, well it is a step up from acting as a traitor to your country, giving aid and assistance and moral support to Russia while bashing the United States on Russian TV while wearing a Marine uniform. Kannaday was forced to change services as well, perhaps because of this Russian TV interview, switching from the Marines to the Air Force Reserves. That is rarely done. There is a reason and it probably isn't pretty.
