More Drunken RINOs

More Drunken RINOs Breaking the Law
Will House Leadership Protect Them Like the Others?
Jeeze, between the public school teachers raping kids and the legislators driving around drunk it is a wonder that there is any trust in government. Last Friday night another drunken legislator was pulled over, tried to use his position to evade justice, but was sent to jail for DUI. And it wasn't the first time this dirt bag has been caught drinking and driving.
One Representative Drunken Dean Davis was speeding down a road driving to the left of the center line when caught, with the cops being vectored in by concerned citizens reporting his drunk driving and speeding. Thankfully the cops pull him over in a residential area before he kills someone and the cops smell the stench of liquor on him. Davis failed a field sobriety test then refused to take the breath test, demanding that the cop talk to his chief while refusing to put his arms behind his back when arrested.
That earned Drunken Dean an intimate encounter with a car hood while the two cops man handled his drunken butt and put the cuffs on him. Luckily for society the cop was a courageous cop who ignored Drunken Dean's attempts to use his political office and Drunken Dean Davis was arrested and taken to Tulsa County jail for DUI and obstructing a police officer.
Drunken Dean Davis put out a statement filled with excuses for his abysmal behavior:
I am embarrassed by this situation and deeply sorry to my family, community, and colleagues. There are aspects of this matter I intend to address in court, but I understand the very appearance of impropriety is unacceptable, and apologize for putting myself in this position. My role as a legislator carries the responsibly to lead by example, and in this case, I should have done better in that regard. I will ensure this does not happen again while working through the due process of the justice system.” – Rep. Dean Davis, R-Broken Arrow

Somehow this fool doesn't quite understand that this isn't about the appearance of impropriety, it is about drunk driving and endangering others. It is about resisting arrest and trying to fight cops making an lawful arrest. No doubt House leadership will give him a pass like they do everyone that supports their agenda.

Representative Dean Fenton Davis has a horrible driving record, likes to speed, fifteen to twenty over the speed limit on some instances. One such ticked was filed as a misdemeanor criminal charge, cost the boy $1400 in fines and fees which took him three years to pay off. Had to hire a bondsman to get out of jail as well. That turns out to have been a plea deal with the first time DUI charges sealed.

And interestingly enough had Drunken Dean Davis gotten his way SB 252 would have passed and his butt would have been stuck in Tulsa County jail till Monday and he would have had to take drug and alcohol testing on a regular basis to remain out of jail while awaiting trial.

And you would know that Drunken Dean Davis, DDD for short, was a teacher before he resigned after winning the election. How about them Apples?

Drunken Dean Davis also scored a 5 on the 2019 Trump Index so his voting was as bad as his driving and drinking. Too bad he can't be arrested for that as well.

And a few days later Drunken Dean Davis's earlier DUI popped up. In 2010 Davis had been arrested for DUI and speeding yet as he was a wrestling coach at a local school he managed to get the DUI part sealed and out of public view. Davis had hired an attorney that promotes himself as the DUI guy in Tulsa County, pled guilty to the speeding, but the end result of the DUI charge was hidden from the public. That allows Tulsa County D.A. Steve Kunzeiler to charge Davis with a felony charge of DUI.

Violated Probation in just 2 weeks!
Marlatt's gone to jail
Meanwhile one of our favorite drunken legislators or former legislators got himself sent to Oklahoma County jail for 90 days after being caught driving drunk up in Woodward County. Bryce Marlatt, originally arrested for physical control of a vehicle at a stoplight in Woodward in December of 2014, received a slap on the wrist for that episode of drunken driving. Marlatt's next arrest was for felony sexual battery on a chunky Uber driver in 2017. The driver had been driving Marlatt around to various bars when Marlatt got frisky with her, making sexual advances, trying to kiss her, and kissing her her chubby neck during a 37 minute Uber drive around OKC. The investigation found that he had been drinking heavily at a bar prior and had made inappropriate comments. Marlatt pled guilty on March 8th of this year only to be arrested 13 days later in Woodward. Marlatt paid around $900 in fines and costs plus a $500 fine and received a suspended 90 day jail stay after pleading down the sexual battery charge to assault and battery.

Marlatt got off easy, he could have faced 10 years in prison and registering as a sex offender for that 2017 sexual battery arrest. One would have thought that he would have learned a lesson but less than two weeks later he is arrested again. Marlatt wrecks his pickup truck, gets himself arrested, and a couple of days later his suspended sentence is revoked for the previous assault and battery charge that had been pled down from felony sexual battery. Marlatt is scheduled to start serving his 90 day sentence in Oklahoma County jail on August 12th.

The guy had a horrible driving record as well with at least one set of charges that the D.A. refused to file. One wonders how many times Marlatt might have been given a pass by getting a traffic ticket instead of being arrested for DUI.
