No, Poor Planning, Over Hype, & Heavy Opposition
The liberal media is savaging Trump today claiming the turnout was poor for his rally, showing empty seats in the second level of the arena. On Facebook, hundreds of Oklahomans are saying otherwise and providing proof that the gates to the arena were locked down after Black Lives Matter protesters blocked the gate and security personnel responded by locking the gate.
Then there was such an over hype of the event and the online ticket applications were so large and screened so many Oklahomans and near state Trump supporters figured they would be walking miles from parking their car and camping out or spending all day in the summer heat standing on concrete and still not be able to get inside. That was poor planning on the campaign's part, requiring a fee with the application even if the fee was refunded by scanning a printed ticket at the event. That would have helped with the sabotage that we discuss next.
There was plenty of advance sabotage. Between a Tik Tok campaign flooding the event system with fake applications for tickets to the event and a wide spread campaign in the media claiming the protesters would be coming and causing trouble and fear mongering over the Chinese virus there was plenty to cause the average Oklahoma to just stay home instead of turning out to attend. Many decided to attempt to drop off people after social media posts from people inside the arena said there were vacant seats and many people dropped off family members as the parking was long gone for miles around but the area could be approached within a few blocks if a driver dropped people off. Nearly all of those dropped off wound up being turned away and leaving before the rally started.
One of the most sordid elements trying to sabotage the Trump rally was Tulsa County Commissioner Karen Keith. Keith was all over the nationwide liberal media outlets crying doom and gloom and demanding the rally be prevented.
Keith's personal attorney, Clark Brewster, filed a lawsuit attempting to stop the rally and deny First Amendment rights to Oklahomans. Of course both Keith and Brewster were silent about the same risk from the BLM protests, it seems that looting and rioting must be safer than attending a political rally. I suppose the fires being set and the windows broken out would bring in some fresh air...

The State Supreme Court of course denied the lawsuit as Brewster had zero standing or credible cause. Democrat Karen Keith has a November Republican opponent once the primary is settled between Josh Turley, 47, and Eddy Barclay, 60, both Republicans and Tulsa County employees. Conservatives in the Tulsa area are giving higher marks to Barclay so hopefully he will be able to win and take down Trump hating Karen Keith in November.
Josh Turley, 47, and Eddy Barclay, 60, are Republicans and Tulsa County employees. Keith, who also filed Wednesday, is a Democrat seeking a fourth term.
