Daniel Navejas is a preacher of some sort, one of God's chosen ones according to his Dominionism beliefs that requires him to band with others in an attempt to take over seven sectors that govern our modern lives. He has banded with a series of diverse groups like the John Birch Society, the Aboltionists, and other far right Dominionism groups in an attempt to take over the GOP and impose a religious litmus test upon candidates for public office in Oklahoma.
Navejas isn't what one would call a model citizen. There is a hot check charge in Blain County, just managed to stop a sheriff's sale of their property in Mcclain County, has had his wages garnished over unpaid debt, and was sued for hiding a pick up truck that he had stopped making payments on.
The criminal hot check charge came out of Blaine county, case number CM 2010 288, from a hot check criminal charge filed on July 13th 2010 to F Stop which appears to be a convenience store for the amount of $20.00 . The criminal charges were filed 2nd of November 2010 and settled Feb 15th 2011. The other debts, garnishments, and legal problems seem to come from a series of churches that Navejas uses to fund his apparent lavish lifestyle and political ambitions. His partner in crime in all of this is one Kyle Brown, the current Chairman of the Logan County GOP.
Both Daniel Navejas and Kyle Brown are married to sisters. Both show 1212 Mockingbird Lane, Guthrie as their registered voting address along with thirteen other people. The home itself is owned by a far right Californian named Dan Ladd. Navejas is from Western Oklahoma, birth date of 5/12/1986, zero higher education, one of the founders of Ekklesia of Oklahoma and the Gathering, both radical cults aimed at the abolitionist movement.
Kyle Brown is from Okeene, no higher education, the current chairman of the Logan County GOP, and is a co founder of Ekklesia. Ekklesia has been labeled as a hate group by at least one organization and was a supporter of SB 13 a few years ago. Brown is also associated with the “The Gathering”, which is a very questionable "religious" organization. For a church, it is alarming that they don't reach out to others and when asked about their church attendance, they become very defensive.
And a few weeks ago we got an idea why they have been so defensive. Navejes and Brown put up a video with both of them freaking out about being investigated for what might be election law crimes, using a 501 C3 charitable organization to gather tax free donations for political purposes. Both Navejas and Brown are using their GOP organizations to support abolitionist candidates in the GOP primary races, something that is quite unethical under GOP state rules that demand that local parties and the state organization remain neutral in primary races.
Local sources in Logan county tell us that a total of fifteen people are registered at that one address. What is unsure is if it is a cult style group home similar to the Branch Dividian compound in Waco or if some of the registered voters are just conducting voter fraud by using the address to pack the county GOP roster and maintain control of the county GOP. What we do know is that Navejas and Brown were quite panicked a few weeks back and worried that they were under investigation so for sure they have guilty consciences.
