HB 1775 Passes

The good folks over at the Muskogee Politico did a good story on HB 1775 so we are going to link to that and provide some comments. The bill basically outlaws the teaching of Critical Race Theory and other radical agendas in the public schools and universities.

First, what a change we are seeing in both our House and our Senate from the dismal days of 2010 when the Tea Party first slammed into the Oklahoma legislature. We are seeing legislation like this being passed and each year the legislature is becoming more and more conservative. And Governor Stitt did us proud in signing this. We didn't support him in the primary but are we glad he turned out to be very conservative. Crow never tasted this good.

HB 1775 is a crucial first step to roll back what the liberals have been working on since the 60's, the liberalization and destruction of our educational system. Ignorant citizens are easier to control. Teaching critical thinking skills is counter productive if your job is to destroy a civilization or to churn out robots to work in the factories. We also have to help take back the school boards and get a decent State Superintendent of Schools elected instead of the disappointing politicians we have had to pick from.

And the Charter schools are another key to having a better and more efficient school system. The assault upon Epic continues, whether they survive or not is still up for debate, and that trailer park trash named Cindy Byrd needs thrown out of office next year for her crimes and corruption against Epic Charter School.
