Politics is the Wuhan Flu in Oklahoma and Around the World But Thank God for Joe Exotic, Kevin McDugle, and Chris Kannady for Entertainment
Yeah, Lord knows what they will be trying to slip through at the Capitol later on this year but for a week the Capitol has been shut down including the legislature. The budget will be in shambles with the emergency spending, the oil and gas prices plummeting, and the loss of maybe a billion in tax revenue due to the consumer spending shutdown. And that is assuming we get over the hump in a few weeks.
Time to stay at home or go into your closed business to do some needed maintenance. Or do some internet marketing or watch a few movies like Outbreak or for a real treat, watch the Netflix show on the Tiger King or the Korean zombie movies set in previous centuries. Those Koreans love two things, portraying suffering and the nobility of their royalty, usually that means lots of torturing the peasants while they pretend their history wasn't dominated by being ruled by either China or Japan. But oh boy, zombies eating up the Court and royalty while peasants die gruesome deaths, well that is prime Korean entertainment.
And the Tiger King. What can you say? I figure the State Chamber would have murdered the lot of them including the documentary crew had they knew how Oklahoma would be portrayed. That one is gonna leave a mark. BTW, Joe Exotic probably got set up but few are going to have any sympathy for the nut job. And the libertarian party, well, they have Joe Exotic and we have Kevin McDugle. I think we have all suffered. The Democrats? Well, they would be so lucky to have either seeing as there are so few of them left. They can claim that there are more elected Democrats than willing partners in Chris Kannady's past sexual history and no one would be likely to dispute it.
