Back in June 2015 Oklahoma GOP Chairman Randy Brogdon created a fire storm by posting an old meme post that talked about the National Park Service asking people not to feed wild animals to avoid them becoming dependent upon the handouts and not foraging for themselves.
The outrage was started by liberal Republicans sharing the post and proclaiming outrage and the post went viral and national condemnation ensued. Even the Tulsa World jumped on the issue with both feet. Brogdon sort of apologized, many including most Republicans thought he shouldn't have apologized and that the post was more right than wrong.
Will Oklahoma Vice Chairman DeWayne McAnally face the same sort of public outrage, pushed by members of his own party cooperating with liberals? No, of course not. There will be no demands for his firing or resignation, no frothing liberals and RINOs bemoaning the fact that it appears that McAnally is comparing public assistance recipients to animals. Nope, as Orwell said, some animals are more equal than others.
