Last Week's Petition to Congressman
Four congressmen or Senators responded of the seven asked. Tom Cole with a recorded statement read by his staffer, Senator Inhofe with a email pointing to a Tulsa World article outlining his views, and Senator Lankford with a pile of steaming hot stinking excuses shoveled inexpertly by his staff.
Only Frank Lucas responded in writing:
Statement:
“I was thrilled President Trump overwhelmingly carried the great state of Oklahoma in 2020. As was evident on Election Day, Oklahomans support a conservative, common-sense government, which was reflected by the more than 1 million Oklahomans who voted for President Trump. As questions remain concerning the 2020 Presidential Election, I believe President Trump is well within his right to call for the investigation of alleged voting irregularities and fraud where evidence exists. America’s judicial system has long been an unbiased, independent part of our government, and I believe they’ll continue to uphold the laws of our land and offer a fair, transparent judgment to the 2020 election.”
Lankford did begin calling activists in the state personally. Some said that they refused to take his call and let it go to voice mail.
Were we successful? I would say we were. They were aware that Trump has strong and passionate supporters in Oklahoma and that nearly 450 people took the time to sign the petition. And for everyone that signed they know another thousand fells and thinks the same way.
Now spread the word quickly and get as many people as possible to sign up for the Legislator petition defending Trump. We will also send the seven Congressmen this petition, each one gets the entire petition of names.
