Monsters In Wagoner County

There Are None So Blind as
Those that Will Not See
Monster Inc Alive and Well in Wagoner County

Last week I received a text from a Wagoner County supporter who had ran across a pitiful blog post by the wife of the Wagoner County Sheriff detective that had railroaded the Wooley grandparents. And oh what a whining, pitiful, yet un repentant post it was. The woman in question is one Tami Marler, an ex media bimbo,  and a badly aging ex beauty queen, who knows why but there is probably a good story behind it. She put up a post sometimes in June of this year, months after our last story on her monstrous hubby and I thought it was both instructive and entertaining..

I'll quote the juicy parts so we can have some fun at their expense.  Hey, it is a slow week, plenty of time to poke fun at idiots.

I generally don’t respond when people talk nonsense about me or someone I love, but when it’s someone I like and respect doing the bashing, I can’t just let it go. Cue the steel guitars because I’m about to stand by my man.

Reclaim the Republican Brand

This Proves  that Republicans
Need to Control their Brand

What a stinking red hot mess we have in the CD 5 race. We are left with a choice between Stephanie Bice who is a complete disaster as a Republican and Terry Neese who has had an outpouring of negative stories blasting her campaign the last week or two. Neese appears to have gotten a taste of Washington D.C. in the nineties attending a conference and has spent her life running for office unsuccessfully or using her access to elected officials to hone her political influence. She ran for Lt. Governor twice, the last time losing to Mary Fallin.

Her spiel about her businesses appears to be overblown, a fabled farming and ranching enterprise was said to have been a small family farm. A property management business in Texas was said to have been a rent house. And the non profits that Neese brags about might be following the Clinton Foundation model.

Tommy Johnson: A Question Answered Honestly

And a Question Answered Honestly

Back last spring at the Oklahoma County GOP Convention I had met one of the men running against the corrupt PD Taylor for Sheriff of Oklahoma County. Nice man, well spoken, said all the right things, asked for our support and I said we would look into his campaign.

Well I was getting a lot of questions when I would discuss the race and the candidate with others, actually just one question asked over and over and over again.

Was the retired OSBI agent Tommy Johnson related to the candidate Tommy Johnson? OSBI TJ was a renowned dirt bag, TJ was caught up in and reported widely, demanding donations to some sort of non profit TJ was involved in that had something to do with the OSBI retirees if I recall correctly. Then there was the butcher job he did on Epic Charter Schools....

So a few weeks ago I emailed the supporter that introduced me to the candidate Tommy Johnson asking if the rumor was true, was he related to the retired OSBI Tommy Johnson. The email was forwarded to both me and the candidate, and …. crickets chirping. No reply. Shoot...that probably meant bad news.

Are There Any That Aren't Bald Faced Liars

Are There Any That Aren't Bald Faced Liars?

So there I was headed to the restroom at the convention and here comes Terry Neese, candidate for District 5 Congressional seat walking toward the convention with a little sawed off politician. I had seen a rumor online claiming that Neese prohibited concealed carry on her business property. What made me remember it was seeing some of her supporters refusing to address the issue, had it been false no doubt they would have spoken up, then again perhaps they were simply unsure and too principled to say either way till they found out.

So I just asked Terry Neese if I could ask her a question. She smiled, stopped, and I said I had heard a rumor that concealed carry wasn't allowed on her company property. She hesitated for a second, grimaced, shook her head no, and said “That is a lie!”. I thanked her for her time and said that was good because many I knew supported her.

McLain & Lankford Spike Rule 5 (the takeover Rule Change)

Other Rules Tabled by a Three to One Margin

A major victory was seeing the dastardly rule changes go down in flames at the convention. Rule 5, the Lankford/Pollard/McLain supported question wasn't even brought up for a vote, it was as if it had disappeared between Sunday night and Saturday morning. The rest of the rules were bundled up in a Motion to Table, with the motion passing 297 to 86. Rules 13, 14, 17, and 18 were bundled up, without a whisper about the remaining rule changes or motions.

A Win On the Vice Chair Election

A Win on the Vice Chair Election

Our Friday night newsletter asked the attendees, most of which are on the STP newsletter mailing list, to support the worst candidate, Shane Jemison, the Chickasaw lobbyist. And our readers came though, electing the Indian lobbyist by an overwhelming margin. We didn't want a good man sullied by association with McLain so we were relieved to see Sean Roberts dodge that bullet. Thanks go out to the Republican Caucus as well who largely refused to support their fellow legislator Sean Roberts, in fact a majority endorsed the Indian lobbyist for the position. No doubt they were sending a message about being conservative being the kiss of death in the Oklahoma legislature.

The Liars Convention of 2020

 The Liars Convention of 2020

So the readers of this newsletter found out Friday night that Chairman McLain had either been exposed with Covid, or had it, or had decided to use that as an excuse for attending the annual GOP state convention. The rumor was confirmed by a volunteer at State GOP Party Headquarters Wednesday night and it was also announced at the convention on Saturday, stating that the McLain's and his in laws were fighting through Covid or something to a effect. You know that had to hurt, to admit that once again STP outed the bastards when they thought they could cover things up. I mean people that had visited the GOP HQ had a right to know everything including the timeline so they could determine whether to self quarantine and get tested.

Then this afternoon we get an email from the GOP and David McLain with this info:

“First, thank you for the prayers for our family. Alee's parents are stable, at home and healing. At 0642 this morning, Alee and I had confirmation that we are both NEGATIVE for Covid .”

Lying Pam Pollard & the Covid Convention

Using your Best Trump Voice
Can You Say ….
Lying Pam Pollard
My gawd, the shear audacity of Pam Pollard.
Lying Pam put out an email this week claiming she had no part in pushing the Lankford takeover of the Oklahoma GOP. Here is the most interesting part of her email:

Calling All Republicans To Convention, This Saturday, In OKC

Don't be Frozen Out of the Convention!
Your Vote Counts

If you attended your county convention you are a delegate at this convention. So many were not given notice of the registration. Show up at the convention anyway and go through the credentials committee and ask to be seated as a delegate as is your right, and if they refuse, ask for a provisional registration so they have your info on file, then we will make a motion to address the issue of the delegates that were unfairly frozen out of the convention due to the mismanagement and/or chicanery of the leadership of the Party. Please respond to this email if you are one of those that were frozen out and did attend your county convention and was elected as a delegate so we can fight for your right to participate.

McLain In charge of Selling Out Republican Control of State GOP

GOP Chairman McLain in Charge of Selling Out

Republican Control of the State GOP?

Last year we missed a bullet at the State GOP Convention when a motion was made and passed calling for the tabling of a motion that would have amended the rules of the state party by making the GOP chairman a figure head and giving complete and total control to the Congressional Delegation and the state elected officials. State Party Rule Change #5 and a few other similar rule changes that are up for a vote at the August 15th GOP State Convention will automatically strip all power from the Republican grass roots and the elected County Chairs and Vice Chairs and place that power in the hands of elected Republican officials in the state.
The executive committee is to be completely redone from a advisory board to the master of the Oklahoma GOP and they are to hire an executive director to run the Party. The current State Committee, with over 400 members from all counties in the state would be powerless and cease to exist other than ceremonially. Likewise the State Chairman and Vice Chair will have zero power and zero control over messaging, finances, conventions, literally they will become useless positions.

Masker Baters To the Left of Me, Masker Baters to the Right...

Maskerbaters to the Left of Me,
Maskerbators to the Right,
Stuck in the Middle Again
Dear me, we have a snowflake melt down in Yukon this week. You know our position on this mask debate, wear the stupid mask, it does help prevent the spread of disease. Sucks, it really does, but viruses are stealing your freedom not idiot politicians. Yet another excellent word was coined last week, maskerbator, used to describe a virtue signaling idiot on either side of the debate. So wear the mask but don't try to cut the throats of the dummies that refuse to use common sense. That said, some common sense is assumed on the part of those we are entrusting to lead us at the local level. Meet Shelli Selby, the Mayor of Yukon, Maskerbator example number uno with a capital M.
Mayor Shelli Selby went and filed a police report on Rep. Jay Steagall stating that he is harassing, demeaning, and intimidating her. Selby wrote a proclamation forcing people to wear masks in city buildings, restaurants, and bars, Steagall disagreed with it and was vocal about it, and Scared Selby isn't liking any lip about her decision.
KOCO had a quote from the weak knee idiot:
“I felt like I needed to do something so he would quit trying to get me,” Selby said. “I mean, we’ve talked about it. We’ve discussed it. I’ve met with him personally.”

Marvin's Fatalist Revenge

Backlash = Zero
The story a few weeks ago called the Great Mask Debate brought in record amounts of emails so there was a good possibility that last week's story on the Tulsa cop shootings were going to be epic. Yet not a single email was sent, not a single person objected. There is the fact that the American character has a soft spot for reasonable men doing unreasonable things once they have been pushed beyond their boundaries.
A good example is Marvin Heemeyer, the famous kill dozer operator from Granby Colorado. Marvin had bought some land that had a septic tank but in purchasing the land at auction from a failed savings and loan, Marvin earned the ire of fellow bidder that was from the most wealthy families in the small town. Marvin set up a muffler shop and made the shop a success despite being an outsider in the small town. But before long Marvin was being fined hundreds of dollars a day by the city council for not hooking onto a septic line, which he was willing to do if the cost was reasonable, but the city wanted $80,000 to run a line about sixty feet to the main line. You see the man Marvin offended by outbidding him on the land was a member of the city council. Next the offended city official built a cement batch plant right next to Marvin, further antagonizing the situation after the zoning change was rammed through over the neighbors objections. The new batch plant also blocked access to his muffler shop. Marvin sued but used a local shyster that did little but take his money and refuse to appeal after a local judge threw the lawsuit out of court.

Letter To Editor: Kannady Still Buys House Lackeys

And a Letter to the Editor
Howdy! Thanks much for your faithful impolite reporting on impolite politicians. Speaking of unethical politicians - and this one may be a new name for you - we real Republicans are being treated to the same old song, seventeenth verse, in the State House District 79 Republican primary. A young man named Clayton David Iiams decided last fall that he'd like to run for State Representative, and his residence du jour being in Tulsa County Precinct 120 (although he swore an oath to the contrary on his Declaration for Candidacy, wherein he stated that he resided in Precinct 79, which is not in the House District for which he filed - the street address he gave for his residence is an apartment about 400' inside the HD79 boundary) put him in House District 79. He was not a Republican at the time, but noticing that the voter registration in HD79 is 47.6% Republican and 34.6% Democrat, he reasoned that his chances of winning the general election might be better if he were to run as a Republican. He re-registered on November 21, 2019, to change his party affiliation to Republican. Boy howdy - now there's an original idea. He filed on April 9, 2020, to run for HD79 as a Republican (his Declaration of Candidacy is on April 9, 2020, Election Board Declaration of Candidacy form #228).

The Great Mask Debate: Part II

The Great Mask Debate, Part II
Boy were there some irrational people sending in emails on that last story a few weeks ago. The dominant theme seemed to be that the masks don't do a proper job at filtering and are thus useless. A university did some testing and video taped the results showing no mask, a single layer cloth mask, a double layer cloth mask and a hospital type non woven procedure mask. The non woven procedure mask did quite well actually and watching that video makes me want to wear one around people even if this Chinese virus goes away.
And yeah, one irresponsible nut job not wearing a mask while harboring the virus doesn't help the responsible people that do. That is the thing about the mask, it isn't about filtering out inhaled virus, it is about keeping the virus from spreading from the fools not wearing a mask while they are carriers. And dang it, we do not know who the carriers are! What else can we do other than lock everything down to slow down the spread? No one wants that, so wear the dang mask.
