Oklahoma's irresponsible GOP Executive Director Tom Demont confirmed Lt. Governor Matt Pinnell's involvement in the 2019 GOP Chairman election in this May 2019 phone call, embarrassing Pinnell to no end and yet Pinnell has yet to denounce the accusations or denounce Demont publicly. Demont continues to be the most visible official of the GOP including as guest speaker slot at the October 3rd 2019 Wagoner County Republican Party meeting at 6:30 pm meeting at the Church of God of Prophecy at 123 West Sycamore Street, Coweta Ok.
Demont goes by his middle name, Thomas, his actual name is Francis Thomas Demont, usually as sign that someone has a past they would prefer to remain in the shadows. Demont has one huge default judgment against him in 2007, $100,546.97 plus $2000 for attorney fees. His partner in the lawsuit, one Joseph M. Morris has a long history of legal disputes and property seizures. Demont himself appears to have moved around a lot over his life and laying hands on his court records would take some time.
But Demont certainly was on board the David McLain campaign bus, we found out later that he was the campaign manager for the McLain campaign. During a phone call in May discussing dirt on another candidate for the GOP Chairman race Demont offered to hand over the delegate list for the 2019 GOP convention and did so a few minutes later, something that David McLain had promised not to do when he was given the delegate list for campaigning for the GOP Chairman slot.
