Mick Cornett's Secret Democrat Operatives

Mick the **** or Mick the Democrat?

Mick Cornett's long established nickname got some competition last week after a Muskogee area website outed the largest single donor to the Mick Cornett Super PAC as a Democrat/Clinton bundler. Bundlers are people that sweep up donations for a candidate, bundling the donations to increase the access to the politician, acting as a go between between donor and the candidate.

Sue Ann Arnall, the ex wife of oil man Harold Hamm sank $200,000.00 into the Oklahoma Values' Super PAC , more than paying for the Tulsa area market $100,000.00 media ad campaign for Cornett. Only one other donor was listed on the recent ethics report according to Jamison Faught who runs the Muskogee political website.

Sue Ann Arnal was a bundler for the Hillary Clinton 2016 presidential campaign, hosting a September 2016 fundraiser at her home featuring Clinton's vice president running mate Tim Kaine. She donated around $170,000 to the Clinton campaign that year along with $2700.00 to openly homosexual Al McAffrey who was running for the 5th Congressional seat. McAffrey is a long time Democrat House member and State Senator.

This is no surprise to those living in Oklahoma City where Cornett was the Mayor. He ran the city as a Democrat and is only running as a Republican because he believes that he will gather more votes as a Republican primary opponent. Unlike Dan Fisher and Gary Jones the Cornett campaign is a real campaign and is in it to attempt to win, not broaden his base for other projects. Cornett was known as quite the ladies man during his bachelor days before his marriage but his old nickname might be replaced with Mick the Democrat after his funding source becomes well known.
