The Don't Ask Don't Tell Caucus

How else to describe these dirt bags other than pointing out that who you associate with determines who you are? The following stories pretty much paint a picture of all you need to know about their character, their morals, and their decency.

A story done by the Frontier.org site outed legislation filed by two of the biggest dirt bag members of the Don't Ask Don't Tell caucus. Reps. Josh West and Kevin McDugle filed a bill making it much more difficult to sue abusive law enforcement officers by removing the agency policies from the list of standards that determines what excessive force is. They attempt to do this by modifying existing law that holds peace officers subject to state law in the same manner as any other citizen.

Current law states that excessive force "shall be presumed when a peace officer continues to apply physical force in excess of the force permitted by law or said policies and guidelines to a person who has been rendered incapable of resisting arrest." . The West/Mcdugle bill would remove all references to the local agency policies and guidelines so that even if the officer violated his own agencies standards he couldn't be held accountable.

If the dirt bag's bill passes the only way to sue a cop is if he was charged criminally, charged by the local D.A. that has to work with the local departments and is usually held hostage or even is being blackmailed by the local cops. The story mentions an Okmulgee woman who had been shot in the neck by the chief of police of that town, the woman being a passenger in a car of a guy that was attempting to drive around a road block. The chief fired six shots into the moving car, missing the driver and a three year old toddler, but striking a female passenger. As expected, the local D.A. Refused to file criminal charges despite Okmulgee police policy that states firing a weapon is illegal if you might endanger an innocent person's life. The woman eventually settled with the city in civil court, something that the West/McDugle bill would prevent in the future.

Another story that was told was that of a Tulsa man who was beaten by Tulsa cops on his own property. The cops were searching for a man who had fled on foot and were searching the man's horse barns. The owner came home after being notified that the cops had spooked one of his horses, resulting in a broken leg. As the owner of the property was trying to catch the broken legged horse the police confronted him despite being told that he was the homeowner and needed to catch the horse to prevent further injury. And this is despite the owner not fitting the description of the suspect.

Current law allows blatant examples of police misconduct to be punished only if the officer is refusing to abide by his own department's policies and guidelines. Local control is always best on these matters as relative safe areas can have different standards compared to a poor cop forced to work in the hood who risks his life daily. Dirt bags West and McDugle want to stop even these horrific cases from being settled.

Josh West of course is famous for his PTSD episode at the State Capitol last year during the Coburn press conference. West screamed and confronted an elderly legislator as that legislator was attempting to attend the press conference. West was out of control to the point where witnesses said that the Capitol Police were watching and moving in to prevent an assault on the elderly man. West is a chicken processing plant whore, kowtowing to the industry that holds the most influence in his district.

Josh West earned eleven points on the 2018 Platform Index, getting 17 out of 20 votes wrong.

Kevin McDugle of course is one of the renowned dirt bags in Oklahoma politics. He earned 40 points on the 2018 Platform index, getting 12 out of 20 votes wrong, ranking that high merely because he missed one quarter of the votes. McDugle is also a man without a shred of honor or decency. Divorce court testimony revealed that McDugle was said to be abusive, considered a danger to his children by the mother, dishonest in many manners of things including trying to cheat his soon to be ex wife out of marital property, had wasted marital assets during affairs, heavily inferred he was bisexual, and was even a self admitted sex addict, with McDugle himself testifying that he was "pure" 95% of the time. That would be 1.2 hours a day.... not sure anyone would consider a sex addict pure if they spent 1.2 hours a day in debauchery.
