The Abolitionist Queen Had a Key Role in Stopping Jenni White and a History of Threatening to Leave the Republican Party

Oh my, some people were wringing their hands at the GOP Convention over the Jenny White push cards put out on the tables by the Sooner Tea Party. And there were around two thousand push cards. Super nice four color push cards, printed on both sides, a dozen or so tiny urls leading to past stories about Jenni White and Ronda Vulliemont Smith and their anti Trump posts on Facebook or to stories about Jenni White being thrown out of her City Council office by angry voters just before the Convention. They were expensive push cards but even the Sooner Tea Party doesn't know how much they cost or even where they were printed. We had never done any sort of literature for a convention.

What we can say with certainty is that before the convention we were told to contact Leslie Nessmith to pick up the push cards, that they were being delivered to Leslie's house. Oklahoma GOP Executive Director Bob Dani lives right next door to Leslie so the screen shots of texts below ought to explain how the push cards came to be in our possession.

The L stands for Leslie Nessmith, the T stands for Tea Party phone, I believe I misspelled her name in my phone contacts as Nesbitt.  And remember, Leslie was John Bennett's campaign manager for the Chairman race:

At 7:33 am Leslie confirms that “everything” is sitting on her porch and that Bob Dani was bringing them to us. Note the specific mention of “my push cards”. There is no doubt that Leslie knew she was supplying push cards to the Sooner Tea Party. Next up are the texts from Bob Dani. Note that I wanted to meet at the old train station, referencing my first text to Leslie asking for a private hand off for the push cards.

These screen shots from my smart phone were from Bob Dani who had picked up the anti Jenni White push cards from Leslie Nessmith's porch.

Bob had sent pictures of his car as well as pictures of the back of the building, he was in the South Parking lot right behind the convention center. The grey jeep looking car is his vehicle.

Leslie has made sure that everyone knows she condemned the Jenni White Push card, even doing so during a private meeting with Leslie, Bob Dani, David Van, John Bennett and I present. She had some harsh words for me over that push card that day, delivered with a contorted rage filled face, until I reminded her of her and Bob Dani's part in the delivery of the push cards. Leslie appears to love it when dirty work gets done as long as her hands appear to stay clean.

And for the record, STP doesn't regret exposing Jenni White. She was never an option for GOP chairman, never had a chance to win the GOP Chairman race, she was put up to that by Ronda Vulliemont Smith in a hail Mary pass to draw votes from John Bennett. All the damage done to Jenni's campaign came from Jenni's own Facebook posts and from losing the city council race, the only one of four that the voters rejected if I recall correctly.

Some of those damaging Jenni White Facebook posts were posts slamming the Republican Party after Trump lost, whining about making plans to leave the Party for good. And talk about hypocrisy, both Leslie Nessmith and Bob Dani were also making threats to leave the Republican Party starting around November and December of 2020.

David Van with Sooner Politics made this clear when interviewed for this story:

“ Bob and Leslie also said they were leaving the Republican Party. The problem is I don't think they respect the organization. Look, two people running the headquarters, six months ago declared they were leaving the Republican Party. It would be different if they were repentant and said how much they honor and revere and respect the Republican Party but in the meeting with us they reiterated that with us, they are not one bit ashamed of that statement.”

I recently asked David Van to repeat the conversation I heard him have with Leslie & Bob while John stepped out of a meeting at the headquarters. It went like this:

David Van said to Bob & Leslie; "Hey; while John is out of the room, I want to ask something. Both of you said last winter that you were leaving the Republican Party.  Are you concerned of that narrative getting out, Cuz I don't know how many people you told that to?"

Leslie & Bob told David; "Nope, not one bit ashamed of that." and Bob added; "I still believe I'm willing to walk away from the party."

One has to wonder how two people that were trashing the Republican Party and on the verge of walking away wind up running the Republican Party. Both were willing to trash Jenni White for saying the same thing yet we aren't supposed to question their mismanagement of the GOP?
